A procurement structure matters most when everything stops going to plan

Buying is straightforward while quality, timing and communication remain on track. The value of the structure becomes clearest when one of them changes.

The goods arrive wrong.

A cross-border buyer can quickly lose practical leverage when replies slow down. Where appropriate, Berg can structure the supplier relationship through our China-side entity under Chinese law, with defined specifications, responsibilities and remedies.

The sample was right. Production isn’t.

Materials, components, finishing or packaging can change between approval and mass production. We define checkpoints and inspect while correction is still possible.
